Daniel lost his first tooth! He loves the Magic Treehouse books so we told him the "tooth fairy" would get him a new one in exchange for his tooth. He came into our room crying at three in the morning because he thought he had lost the tooth in his bed. Curtis asked him, "Is anything else under your pillow?" D said no, so Curtis went with him back to bed to show him the book under his pillow. "I wanted a dollar, not a book." So Curtis gave him a dollar and took the book back. In the morning, Daniel had no memory of the conversation and, of course, would rather have the book.

Great story, we loved it!!
I'm not sure if Curtis was so easy going with the whole thing as it sounds - first helping him find the book then just exchanging the book for a dollar without any drama . . . but I think if he was how great is that? since in the end - Daniel wanted the book! I probably would have turned the conversation IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT into a "are you sure?" persuasion session - - - not necessary!!!!
Good job Curtis - cute story - congrats to Daniel!!!! (:
