Touching the Temple

Whenever I see a Temple, I think of President Hinckley and I remember that he always encouraged the children to take the time to touch the Temple. The kids and I recently had the chance to visit Nauvoo with the YW in our ward. Daniel was excited about two things: he wanted to make some rope and he wanted to touch the Temple. Sitting on the front steps.

The cornerstone.

I wish I could show you the excitement he showed as he ran towards the Temple. I don't think the Savior would have been displeased to see a child running towards His house and probably wishes that more of us would do the same. I hope he will always remember how it felt to touch the House of the Lord and long to return as soon as he can.
