Circleville Pumpkin Show

The punkin show, as Daniel calls it, was this past week in Circleville, OH.  This show is huge.  The kids get out of school and even GE is closed the Friday of pumpkin show.  Daniel had a cold and a breathing problem last year so this was the family's first chance to check it out.

Daniel is front of the GE parade float.  They won the Grand Champion prize for this float.  There were so many people I couldn't get a picture of the whole thing.

This was NOT the biggest pumpkin.  The biggest one was 1375 pounds!

Do you notice the look of awe on Daniel's face?  There were a lot of people, a lot of pumpkins, and a lot of various types of pumpkin food.

Daniel had some pumpkin ice cream (very good) during the parade.

Curtis was the Creeper during the parade.  I think I need to mention that a parade takes place twice a day for four days.  (Yes, Circleville is slightly obsessed with their pumpkin show.)
