Daniel is potty trained!!!

Yes, folks it has happened: My son will willingly sit on the potty, pee in the potty, and poop in the potty. The Thursday we got back from the wedding reception I threw a bye-bye diapers party. I moved the toys, the potty, lots of towels, chocolate kisses, and sixteen freshly laundered sets of dinosaur underwear into the kitchen. By five o'clock I was thinking, "well, this is the dumbest thing I have ever tried," but, by five-thirty we had a break-through. He peed in the potty without wetting the underwear first! Chocolate kisses all around! By Monday he was also doing number two in the potty. In one week we moved to the big pot. The key to success: patience and chocolate kisses!

Daniel is really funny to watch while he eats. The first picture he knew I was taking but I was sneaky with the others. "I want the camera, mom!"

"Now let's see..." (Daniel says this all the time.)
